Building Restoration Volunteer Projects
Building Resoration projects are often funded by private means and in dire need of volunteers to help with the practical work. Trades people are especially welcomed but so are willing able people of all denominations to lend a hand. France is a hot spot for this type of project, restoring historic chateaux and abandoned villages. In the UK The National Trust runs working holidays where you can combine lending a hand with pursuits such as surfing and photography.
