The Moorings is a fun, relaxed and sociable place to work, we’re looking for staff who are energetic, friendly, and have a passion for great customer service. 

Responsibilities (Not limited to)

• The job will be varied, and you’ll need to be flexible and enthusiastic to fit in with The Moorings ethos. 
• Playing an active role on the floor and behind the bar on a daily basis.
• Serving a range of drinks from cocktails to ales. 
• Delivering exceptional customer care.
• A good product knowledge of our food and drinks menus including allergens.
• Making and serving coffees and a range of hot beverages to company standards.
• Handling of cash and till management.
• Maintaining a clean bar area, changing barrels, maintaining taps etc and topping up fridges/shelves.
• Setting up and closing of the restaurant. 
   

Skills and experience needed

• 1-2 years of previous experience ideally.
• Great people skills and an outgoing manner. 
• Motivation, organisation skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Passion, enthusiasm and energy.
• The ability to work alone and as part of a team.
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Adaptability and flexibility.
• Can work hard but most importantly have fun!
