Position: Chalet Host

As a proactive member of the team, your responsibilities will include the day-to-day cleaning of the chalet, helping in the kitchen and other chalets if necessary, serving breakfast and dinner 5 days a week, and generally hosting the guests.

Requirements:
- Experience in high-end hospitality
- Enthusiasm for food, working with people, skiing or snowboarding, or wanting to learn
- A love for the mountains
- An eye for detail
- A professional attitude
- Teamwork skills, both in the chalets and out on the slopes

Responsibilities:
- Look after the day-to-day running of the chalet and guests
- Help out in preparing breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés, and a four-course evening dinner if necessary
- Lay the tables suitably and as trained for breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner
- Prepare drinks for guests in the morning and evening and serve alcohol responsibly
- Serve and clear breakfast and dinner
- Ensure that the chalet is always clean and tidy
- Clean bedrooms and bathrooms daily
- Share the cleaning of communal areas with the chef
- Make beds
- Conduct a thorough deep clean of the chalet on changeover day as trained
- Be prepared to help in other chalets if required
- Share responsibility with the F&P team for weekly changeovers across resort
- Ensure the exterior of the chalet is kept tidy, clear of all rubbish and snow
- Ensure the storage areas of the chalet (where applicable) are always clean and tidy
- Clear rubbish and recycling from the chalet twice daily
- Be presentable and personable at all times
- Be a proactive part of the F&P team and work closely with the chef in the chalet, the other hosts, drivers, and the resort manager
