Role Purpose
To assist the Childcare Manager in operating the children’s club operation in resort ensuring the children are cared for in a safe environment and an exciting and stimulating programme of activities are provided to all age groups.
Responsibilities
From our teams, we expect an attitude whereby “nothing is too much trouble”. 

You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:
• Ensure the guests and their children benefit from the highest level of childcare
• Assist the manager and assistant manager in ensuring operational standards are delivered
• Guide, mentor and help develop a kid’s club team
• Ensure and maintain excellent safeguarding practices
• Have a flexible approach to the role and be prepared to step in where necessary
 

Duties
• Provide a safe, hygienic and stimulating environment for children
• Work alongside team members helping to develop individual skills and confidence
• Mentor and support the kids club team
• Assist with the day-to-day operation of the children’s club
• Work as part of a team and closely with the manager and assistant manager
• Ensure all Health and Safety procedures and requirements are followed and understood
• Lead by example to team members by ensuring high standards and service is always delivered
• Adhere to all policies and procedures to guarantee an efficient operation and deliver expected standards
• Coordinate, implement, deliver and participate in a range of activities
• Provide nutritious and healthy snacks and lunch
• Communicate with parents at the end of the day and throughout their holiday regarding their child’s wellbeing
• Complete any administration tasks set to the required standard
• Provide a degree of flexibility wherever possible to meet parent’s needs and wishes.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and on time
• Work in ratio if required
• Report any Health and Safety concerns
• Make certain that the cleanliness of the club is of extremely high standard
• Travel to and work in different resorts if required depending on business needs
 

Job Description
• As part of the activity plans, oversee the delivery and take part in a range of activities such as Golf, Tennis, wall climbing, high ropes, cooking and water sports

• Must be a strong swimmer and happy to take children in the water
• Confident to complete necessary daily records and paperwork as instructed
Essential Experience and Key Competencies
• Experience of working in a childcare role
• Experience of working with children under five years of age
• EU passport
• Confident swimmer
• Excellent understanding of good safeguarding practice
• Flexible approach to work
• Paediatric first aid qualification
Desirable Attributes
• Additional languages
• Full clean EU driving licence
• Driven overseas previously
• Experience in a similar supervisory role
• Previous experience of working overseas in a similar role
• Ideal candidate will have experience of working in similar deputy manager/ assistant manager role and or have experience of leading a team


You must be resident in Greece or hold Greek residency / dual nationality to be employed. Holders of EU passports are welcome to apply to work on a self-employed basis. Please note that you will be required to hold a current criminal background check / disclosure and barring service check. If you do not have one, you will be required to obtain this prior to arrival in resort.
