Role Purpose
This position is responsible for enhancing the holidays for our guests, ensuring that they get the very best out of their stay with us. You will need to build excellent relationships with our hotel partners. Problem solving will form a significant part of your work, as well as being professional, flexible and adaptable to handle any arising situations. Being willing and able to get involved in any aspect of the general running of the resort and supporting the wider resort team is essential.
Responsibilities
From our teams, we expect an attitude whereby “nothing is too much trouble”. There would be an expectation for you to:
- Ensure that all our guests benefit from the highest possible level of “Scott Dunn” service.
- Meet guests during their stay to facilitate any restaurant bookings or activity requests.
- Regularly check in with guests, helping them to get the most from our childcare services.
- Work closely with the resort childcare team.
- Liaise with the UK Operations and sales teams to ensure smooth running of the programme.
- Maintain and develop good relations with suppliers and contractors in and out of resort.
- Handle any potential issues promptly and efficiently, with courtesy and professionalism.
Duties
Working hard while having fun, you will:
- Ensure you are available to guests, enhancing their holiday experience.
- Co-ordinate / manage the arrival and departure of guests, including airport transfers.
- Make restaurant bookings, spa treatments, pre-arrival shopping and activities for guests.
- Liaise closely with UK offices to ensure strong communication, being in the detail.
- Complete accurate and efficient paperwork, budgets, monies and administrative duties.
- Effectively troubleshoot unforeseen events and circumstances - whether related to guests, staff, properties or logistical arrangements.
- To attend hotel/resort managers meetings and keep the resort informed.
- Remain knowledgeable on all resort information and programmes.
- Liaise regularly with the childcare manager to discuss feedback and up and coming arrivals.
- Resolve health and safety issues in a timely manner, reducing risk where possible in advance.
- Use your judgement to create “surprise & delight” moments for special occasions for guests.
- Strive to improve the guest experience at every opportunity.

- Support in any HR issues that may arise within the team.

Essential Experience
To be successful as a Guest Relations Executive, you must have:
- Clear spoken and written English
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent numeric, administrative and organisational skills
- The ability to multitask
- The availability to work for the season - early May to early November
Desirable Attributes
- Previous background in similar guest relations roles
- Spoken languages (beyond English)
- Full clean EU driving license
- Paediatric first aid qualification
You must be resident in Greece or hold Greek residency / dual nationality to be employed.
Holders of EU passports are welcome to apply to work on a self-employed basis.
Please note that you will be required to hold a current criminal background check / disclosure and barring service check. If you do not have one, you will be required to obtain this prior to arrival in resort.
