As a hotel manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day management of the hotel, the guests and the staff. You will organise, plan, and direct front of house, catering, and housekeeping whilst being a point of contact for guests if any issues occur.
To exceed our guests’ expectations, our hotel managers must have good attention to detail, setting a great example to our staff so they will deliver a high standard of service.
You will work to identify new initiatives to improve standards and tailor our product and service to individual customer expectations. You will be a strategic leader with a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Requirements
Customer Focus
- Ensure the hotel guests expectations are always exceeded.
- Ensure all customer complaints are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
- Meet set targets for First Impression feedback for cleanliness, food, and comfort.
- Provide an approachable welcoming atmosphere within your hotel, between staff and guests.
Operational
- Ensure the hotel is running smoothly and efficiently in all areas.
- Complete weekly hotel accounts and administrative tasks including staff rota, risk assessments, fire / health & safety and HACCP paperwork. Set deadlines using this information to ensure all budgets, sales and customer satisfaction targets are met.
- To develop and maintain relationships with all suppliers
- Performance manage your team using a variety of techniques, ensuring your team are happy and confident in their role.

- Experience at a management level within the hotel industry.
