The housekeeping supervisor works closely with a team of hotel assistants to deliver the highest levels of cleanliness throughout the property. You will oversee and manage a small team to ensure guest bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and all public and back of house areas of the hotel are consistently clean and tidy. You will help ensure that the hotel meets the company’s high targets for guest reviews and organize linen to ensure a smooth transfers day. You will be instrumental in creating an inviting, relaxing atmosphere, and promoting staff efficiency. This is a hands-on role; the primary aspect being the high-standard cleaning of the hotel, whilst also supervising your team to create the optimum environment for both staff and guests. When required you will be on hand to help support the team during service at mealtimes to help provide great and efficient service.
We have available positions in Morzine and Tignes, France.
Requirements
Customer Focus
- To ensure that the guests' expectations are consistently exceeded.
- Ensure all customer complaints are resolved in a timely and efficient manner and reported to the hotel manager/appropriate department.
- Meet company targets on feedback for cleanliness and comfort.
- Provide an approachable, welcoming atmosphere within the hotel and between staff and guests.
Operational
- To help the hotel and assistant manager ensure smooth daily running to company standards, specifically regarding the cleanliness throughout the hotel.
- To complete weekly stock takes for housekeeping supplies and linen to ensure the hotel is adequately supplied for day to day and transfer day.
- Providing staff motivation and development throughout the season where needed.

- Previous experience in housekeeping. (Essential)
