Kitchen Porter / Commis Chef

A fantastic opportunity to work in the world’s premier windsurfing resort within a highly motivated hospitality team on the island of Lefkada, Vasiliki Bay

Club Vass 2025:

The full season runs from the 04/05/25 - 05/10/25with 1st guests arriving 18/05/25, allowing 2 weeks set-up and training. Club Vass has two bars and a main restaurant. The Hotel is 64 beds but we also have three other small hotels/villas we use. In high season we take around 150-250 guests per week. The resort is also open to the public so it’s very busy in high season in all areas of the Club. The bar and restaurant will serve up to 200 covers per day in peak times. The beach bar is the social hub of the Club and very important to the daily running of the resort. The restaurant is open daily for breakfast (8.30-11.00) and lunch (12.00-15.00), Pizza Night on Tuesdays (18.30-21.30) and the Legendary Club Vass BBQ on Fridays (from 20.00)

We are recruiting for Kitchen porters and Commis Chefs to work within our busy kitchen team adhering to hygiene, food production and plating standards. This is an exciting role with potential for huge development and learning the ‘ins and outs’ of the higher kitchen roles in a safe, busy environment which can happily achieve 200 covers over 2 services per day. This role is hard but has great windsurfing hours with a lot of free time to surf working morning through afternoon shifts 9am – 3pm 

Job Description:

·       Responsible for assisting in the day to day running of the kitchen

·       Serving staff meals for all centre staff

·       General cleaning down after service

·       Food preparation under supervision

·       Excellent work ethic, reliable and a team player

·       Efficient and adaptable worker keen to learn new skills and utilise them quickly, keeping your workspace clean and always well presented.
