Resort Head Chef - Full Time/ Part Time

Hunurijärvi Resort offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping our guests' dining experience at Restaurant Le Lac. As a Head Chef, you will contribute to creating unforgettable dining experiences in an exceptional lakeside environment, surrounded by the serene Finnish forest.

Hunurijärvi Resort offers spacious cottages for overnight stays, as well as a Sauna and relaxation area. Our restaurant Le Lac accommodates up to 100 guests and features a bar and lounge with a relaxed atmosphere.

We cater to businesses seeking an inspiring venue for meetings and events, as well as private individuals looking to enjoy something special and first-class service year-round.

We're looking for:

• Solid experience as a chef: You have 5+ years of experience in the industry and a deep understanding of high-level cooking.
• Creativity and innovation: You have the ability to create unique and well-composed menus for everything from weddings and themed events to large corporate gatherings and intimate private occasions.
• Passion for sustainability and local ingredients: You value seasonal ingredients and actively work with sustainable cooking practices.
• Financial understanding:  You have knowledge of ingredient management, cost control, and minimizing food waste.
• Flexibility and problem-solving skills: You thrive in a dynamic work environment and easily adapt to changes and solve challenges.
