Scottish Island Seasonal Couple

We are now looking for an energetic couple with a can-do attitude to join us for the summer season (or longer). Are you looking for an adventure, working on a beautiful Scottish island? If you’re up for both the fun and the challenge and have experience in the hospitality sector, ideally in customer care, then get in touch. The work is varied, both inside and outdoors - no day is the same here - if you have boating, gardening or practical skills that’s a bonus. Most of all you must be hard working (and not afraid of a little Scottish weather!).

6+ month contract (starting April until end of October). Includes free accommodation and utilities (food and telephone costs not included) and share of tips.

Eilean Shona is an inner Hebridean island of outstanding natural beauty on the west coast of Scotland. It is a haven of wildlife and nature and the post will suit nature lovers.

The main house rents up to 20 people and we have 8 cottages over the island that rent out weekly for the season. We require a hospitality support to undertake a range of duties to ensure the smooth running of our holiday lets during our rental season (April – Oct).

Duties to include:

Meeting and greeting guests on arrival

Cottage and Main house changeovers and general cleaning

Support with little outdoor work including path maintenance

Support to kitchen staff and hired chefs

Requirements for the role:

Experience in hospitality is desirable

Hard working and friendly attitude

Permission to work in the UK
