Transfer Day – a LONG day, get this bit right and the rest of the week is a doddle

Your day starts generally around 4 am with the guests departing resort from a week on the mountain, picking up all the guests who are leaving resort, and making sure they are ready to get on the transfer coach down to the airport. As it's often an early start some guests come straight from the local dancer, which can make for a more interesting journey, whatever happens everyone on your coach has a flight to catch.

The average transfer could be at least 2-3 hours, where you will make 2 or 3 transfer speeches explaining exactly what the journey entails i.e. stops, coach rules and what will happen on arrival at the airport.

Arriving at the airport, you will help your guests off the coach and ensure they get checked in on time.

Then down to arrivals to greet the new arriving guests. You may spend a good few hours at the airport waiting for flights to land, finding lost luggage and ensuring all guests are on the right coach.

Arrival transfer to resort – your new guests for this week have just arrived, this is the most important 3 hours of the week for a Rep.

Selling to guests on the coach - usually around 50 guests sometimes for various resorts must be completed by arrival into resort. So a good sales pitch is essential. Basically everything a punter needs to get on the hill as soon a possible. You will hold HUGE amounts of cash / card sales which you are responsible for!

On arrival into resort you see the guests into accommodation then follow up any guests not sold to in resort and smooth over any issues guest may have. It’s all about first impressions!

Welcome meetings - the second most important 2 hours of the week for a rep. A 20 min speech in the chalets about the resort, Selling après ski events (entire après programme designed and run by rep team in resort).

Different resorts run different events, but some examples could be quiz, bar crawl, bowling, ski away & meal night.

You may do up to 4 welcome meetings, depending on how many chalets you look after

After all that! Meet manager to hand over cash and start your accounts, book lessons and arrange ski passes to hand out the next morning.
