Activity Instructor/Group Leaders - the most popular job at PGL! If you're full of energy then this is the role for you: combining instructing and group leading, you'll lead activity sessions, organise evening entertainments and ensure your group has the best stay possible.

Our Activity Instructor / Group Leaders (AI/GL) combine instructing duties with pastoral care to ensure our guests have the best time possible with us.

As an AI/GL, you'll introduce guests to a number of activities and deliver group taster sessions in our core activities, including orienteering, abseiling, climbing, fencing, motorsports, ropes challenge courses, initiative exercises and archery as well as helping to organise and participate in evening entertainments.

This is a fantastic opportunity to share your love for sports and the outdoors with our young guests.

To work as an Activity Instructor / Group Leader you don't need any specialist qualifications or have experience in any particular activity. However, you do need to be enthusiastic, willing to learn and have lots of energy!

You must be available to work for a very minimum of 12 weeks to be considered for this role; however preference will be given to applicants who can work for at least 20 weeks.

As well as our instructing roles, with 400,000 guests enjoying a PGL experience annually, we have a lot of hungry mouths to feed! Our Catering Teams (Assistants, Chefs and Head Chefs) prepare wholesome, canteen-style meals using as many fresh ingredients as possible. Our guests and staff enjoy three meals a day, seven days a week. And as our guests are all under 17 years old, you'll find that evening meal times are early: meaning you'll seldom work beyond 8pm which is rare in the catering industry!

Our hospitality and support team offers opportunities to join PGL as Housekeeping, Security or General Assistants and Drivers.
