English Language Schools spared

No plans to make changes to the UK student visa scheme in light of recent foiled terror attack.

The British High Commission has confirmed that student visa applicants for the UK are unlikely to undergo increased checks as a result of the attempted bomb attack on Christmas day.

The absence of plans to review the visa policy benefits employees of English Language training schools who accept over half a million international students each year. Accredited English language schools already endure very tight controls and so it’s also encouraging for them that there won’t be a knee jerk reaction that would see the situation get worse.
