Snow continues to fall across the Alps late in May
The lifts may have shut and the pistes been claimed back by the cows, but photos are flooding in to social media of snowy scenes across French ski resorts this week. Whilst snow in May and June is not unheard of, it certainly is rare and must be confusing the Alpine livestock no end!
Check out these recent photos of the mountains under a blanket of most unseasonable snow.
Here at The Hive we're just hoping that the sun comes out in time for our chalet cookery courses starting in June... Fingers crossed!

The Hive Cookery School
The Hive Cookery School is based in the stunning ski resort of Les Arcs in the French Alps, it is an exciting new cookery school, open in Summer 2014 to train aspiring chalet hosts. Courses are taught in a real Alpine chalet, by tutors with many years experience of running their own successful chalets.
