Lambay is a family-run island and a unique corner of the world that celebrates an extraordinary heritage while also providing a sanctuary for nature, history and creativity.

Approved guests can explore the breathtaking landscapes and island wildlife, immerse themselves in the historical architecture of Sir Edwin Lutyens and the Baring family and experience a gentler way of life that is lost to most of the modern world.

Lambay is also home to our boutique Lambay Whiskey, and a serious of carefully curiated creative and wellness retreats. It provides groups of family and friends the opportunity to escape to an off-grid private paradise where they can unplug, rejuvenate and enjoy high quality time together.

We are a small and dedicated team on Lambay, committed to protecting and preserving the integrity of the island. We work flat out in the summer for visiting guests, and the winter is dedicated to ongoing farmwork, maintenance and repairs, and the operation of our micro-distillery.
