About Orchards Cookery School
Orchards Cookery is a multi-award-winning residential cookery school near Stratford upon Avon, specialising in training and recruiting Chalet Cooks, which it has been doing for over 22 years.
Family run, the school employs 25 staff to look after 48 students who are taught in 6 separate kitchens with a Tutor (a ski seasonnaire) and Kitchen Assistant in each.
Other courses available include the all-round Orchards course, and The Off to University Course.
Courses are intensive but relaxed and great fun with music streaming all day, dinner parties in the evenings.
The school has licenced 'Apres' style bar with pool table and dancefloor and the school also has a gym, astro turf, tennis court / basketball /football, badminton, volleyball, table tennis tables, pianos and guitars.
All courses qualify for the Residential Project of the Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

Our team of 25 and students a fantastic time, enjoy their jobs and courses, and make friends for life.
The vast majority of students come on courses due to word of mouth and ski company recommendations.
