About The Peligoni Club
The Peligoni Club is a family-run beach club in Greece. It’s a members-only retreat for a fun-loving bohemian crowd who want delicious food, creative cocktails, friendly staff and sumptuous settings, but without all the fuss that usually comes with high-end hotels.
Small and personal with a focus on quality over quantity, the club moulds itself around our guests and their idea of the perfect holiday. For some that might be an action packed week of watersports, yoga and tennis and for others that might be a series of long lazy lunches, time in the sun and being able to really let their hair down whilst our childcare team look after the little ones; whatever they feel like, we’ve got it covered.

We have a wide range of exciting positions available from watersports instructors to waiting staff, tennis coaches to spa therapists and receptionists to bartenders. We employ chefs, nannies, maintenance staff and more. If you are passionate about what you do, we would love to hear from you.
A season with us is hard work and not for those just looking for an extended summer holiday. It is, however, an amazing and unforgettable experience which is rewarded with a number of great benefits and the opportunity to meet like minded people and make friends for life.
Our story
We’ve always been a family business, Peligoni was originally founded by Johnny and Vanessa Alexander in the mid eighties, before devoted guests, the Shearer family, took over in 2005. The Shearers built upon the foundations laid by the Alexanders and transformed this little club into one of the best summer holiday destinations in Europe.
What began as a simple beach bar, a restaurant and basic watersports offering, is now a boutique beach club with three bars, a great restaurant with ample seating areas, sea-facing sun decks, a tranquil pool, fitness area, creche, tailored activities for kids and teens, great watersports and evening entertainment throughout the week.

Our staff are the life and soul of the club. It is up to us to ensure our guests are made to feel at home and getting the most out of their Peligoni holiday. We like to think of Peligoni as home away from home, and our staff as the perfect hosts. The level of pride we take is second to none, our warm and friendly approach is never forgotten and our attention to detail is what makes our guests come back year after year.
Life at Peligoni
Outside of working hours, our staff are free to enjoy some of the facilities that our guests have access to. They might decide to join an early morning yoga session, go for a sail in the afternoon, work on their windsurfing skills in the early evening and perhaps enjoy a cocktail or two on a party night.
We encourage everyone to get involved in all aspects of the club: joining guests on quiz night, getting competitive in the weekly sailing regatta, showcasing talent during our open mic nights, taking part in the infamous ‘beach team skit’ and getting the party started.
Outisde of the club, snorkel with turtles at Keri Beach, visit an island winery, watch the sunset over Shipwreck beach, go shopping in Zakynthos Town, or just relax with a cocktail in hand at Porto Roxa. Packed with things to do, Zakynthos is a great place to enjoy your time off.
